Being the latest addition of the Union Group Jakarta, this place surely has to at least equate with its highly esteemed sister company, Union Restaurant. Is The Dutch able to meet Indos' expectation? Or it will just be merely a brief, seasonal hype?
Once you walk through the entrance alley of The Dutch you will be facing the side section of the bar area. With the looks of the rose gold rectangular pipe with various beer brands' logos, it seems like they are serving special beers. But i didn't order that. Don't want that extra blob of sodas in my already layered belly.

I ordered this healthy and cheesy grilled cauliflower (which i'm sure is very beneficial to my growth)
The cheesy cream surrounding the cauliflower is not too strong, just like a thicker version of cream soup, except this one is more salty. The cauliflower itself is sprinkled with cheese. I'm pretty sure it is Parmesan but i might be wrong. You should check with them first if you are not a fan of Parmesan, or if you have an allergy, or if you just don't feel like eating cheese.

Rookworst is a pork sausage dish. Since i'm not a connoisseur of sausages, i couldn't decide whether it is a perfectly cooked sausage or simply a so-so sausage. But paying 125k for this? i don't think i'm liking this dish to the point i'm willing to pay such amount. All i could say is that it tastes like a typical sausage, full stop. On its side, there are mustard sauce and a yellowish sauce that i believe is pickles mixed with mustard and some other vinegar tasting ingredients.

Black burger! asikasikasik. I've wanted to try a black burger since 2014 but just never did, because i'm sure they tasted similar to a burger, expect it's black in colour. And i'm right... Carls Jr. definitely tasted better than this. Too bad Carls Jr. doesn't have these black buns.

For dessert i had this toast. Gotta say I LOVED IT!
Maybe cause i'm a fan of cinnamon, and it's served with cinnamon ice cream! And there's raisins, which i loveee, once again, and candied orange, and yummy heavenly crumbles. Even though the apples seems a little out of place (considering that i hate dislike fruits), they actually make a perfect balance to this dessert. The toast is a tad too sweet but the grilled apples neutralise everything out. Thanks apple. Thank you. Thanks to you i'm saved from diabetes.

Now this cocktail is the coolest among all. Why does dry ice fog makes everything around it looks uber cool?! Makes me feel like being served with something from outer space.
Although the reason i ordered this was because it contains soy milk! You might wonder, what's so great about soy milk. Answer is, there is nothing extraordinary about it. I just have a special connection with soy milk. We both shared a deep connection. A very beautiful one.

My friend ordered their coconut iced coffee. Served in coffee and coconut ice cubes. I didn't try it so i couldn't describe the taste. Sorry guys. I just think it's impolite to drink someone else's drink.
